I have been brainstorming ideas for the summer to keep the boys busy (i.e. their minds off bothering each other). While reading another blog, I was reminded of the classic card table tent/fort. I borrowed my in-laws card table, grabbed two tablecloths, added handmade lanterns from Made By Cynthia Rae and shazam, we had indoor camping!!! The tent has been up for 2 days and they have not stopped playing with it. I even found the cat curled up under it tonight.

Happy Birthday to Me!
I will be celebrating another year of my life tomorrow. My sweet friends and I went to dinner tonight at Big Shucks to celebrate. I think everyone was glad to have a night out with the girls. Since we have so many cute pictures of our kids, I wanted to take one of the mommies while we were "cleaned up" for dinner out! Thank you guys for a great evening.
I love peanut butter
Luke and Grant love to cook. They always want to help bake and prepare dinner. Luke has also been found "cooking" concoctions in the bathroom with soap and toothpaste.
A couple of days ago, Luke asked if we could make peanut butter. Willing to try most things, I agreed. I found a recipe online at Wellsphere. I was surprised at how easy it was, and it actually tasted pretty good. Luke was disappointed it was not as thick as his preferred JIF.

First Day of Summer
We had a pretty quiet beginning to the summer. The Ayottes invited us to the Fretz Park Library for a cow-milking demonstration. The boys were pretty excited about it - they had never seen a cow milked. The speaker provided a lot of information about milk production and the rigorous standards the farmers have to adhere to.
We have several projects and outings planned for the summer. I hope the boys are as excited as I am about them!
